Welcome to the Fourth Annual CT Futures Cup!
Last year over 70 girls participated in the Annual CT Futures Cup Summer Programs. Girls from all over the Northeast are exposed to top-notch female coaches from local area college and prep school women's hockey programs, as well as current NWHL and female college players. Our goal is to give young girls access to role-models, while developing their skills in a fun, enthusiastic, low-pressure environment.

LocationDetailsAn evaluation will take place on June 12.
Selected players will be assigned to one of four teams for the duration of the summer program. Our goal is to assign players to create four well-balanced teams. Any player not selected for a team will be refunded their payment and deposit, as well as will be eligible to register for the Junior Program. Each week, players will participate in an hour-long station-based clinic. A full-ice game will follow each clinic, taking place on one of Wonderland's two rinks. Team match-ups and coaches will change each week. Goalie instruction is provided by ProCrease. |
"For two hours each week, active college players and prep school and college coaches gave our daughter the most amazing on ice experience. From the clinic to the officiated games that followed, she learned a whole new level of hockey and had an absolute blast in the process. Kudos to Gretchen and her staff for raising the bar in girls’ hockey. We can't wait to do it again."

“My daughter had the pleasure of playing in Coach Silverman’s program last summer. Between the on-ice instruction through station-based drills and skills (skating, stick-handling, edgework, shooting, passing), the scrimmages that followed those skills, and the exposure to some excellent prep and college coaches, players and families who participate in this program will not be disappointed! Coach Silverman and her coaching staff do a great job of keeping the sessions fresh and fun for all of the players. We are looking forward to another summer!”

Both of our daughters have participated in this program over the past several years and it's a "must" in our off-season hockey development regimen. It's rare to find a summer hockey program like this for girls in Connecticut. Gretchen's program provides the right level of challenge for the travel player, with an attractive coach-to-player ratio, in a low pressure, fun atmosphere. The quality of talent among the participants and instructors is excellent, and under Gretchen's leadership the coaches provide positive role models for the players. This an excellent program for any player.
